Great sleek West Bend penguin hot or cold ice bucket. I just LOVE this design! The patent on the bottom is for 1944 and this server was probably made in the 1940’s or 1950’s. It’s not just an ice bucket, but a container for hot or cold foods (for example, for transporting a hot bean dip to a party, meatballs, etc). I believe the handles are bakelite.

Approx 8 inches tall to tip of the lid handle

Good used vintage condition. Please expect some scuffing, scrapes. Some rust around the screw on the base. Chrome is shiny overall. The seal around the inside has age yellowing. There are a couple extremely tiny shallow ding in the lid (see photo) and a small little edge of the rim (which sits inside, is not visible on display) has a small bend (see photo).

    I love this ice bucket, though I might use it to keep rolls warm. My mother had this in 60’s and I was potty we lost track of it. This came scratch free and it was nice and shiny, as it is meant to be. Excellent condition
