1900 Lady’s Antique Sterling Silver Glass Flask

This Antique Sterling Silver Glass Flask was produced in the early 1900s. The Art Nouveau design is indicative of that time period. There is sterling silver over glass with a sterling silver bayonet cap and cup. The monogram is so finely engraved that I can not make out the initials. The are several dings on the cap and cup. After a few drinks a bottle can slip through ones fingers. The bayonet system requires you to press down and turn counterclockwise to open. The original cork is still in the lid.

There is a flea bit chip on the silver see photo #10 which is probably the result of the cup being jammed onto the bottle. There is also a small area of damage is inside of the removable cup. The silver is thick and fully adheres to the glass. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. The flask measures; 4.50 inches high by about 2.75 inches wide. The cup is marked with the design number 214, the three-part Alvin mark, which is missing detail, and the word “STERLING”.
